Here is the first preview of Hula Mula! This collection is called "Anchors Away".
Most of the collection is inspired by vintate patterns, with modern fabrics. We designed and printed this fabric just for the line...so, no you can't buy it anywhere else!! LOL.

Cali Baby!

Over the weekend we traveled to LA for a few reasons, all of which were work related. ...even though it was a fun lil vaction and Megan got to do my hair!! Yeah.
So, first ee went to the LA market to do some research on getting a corporate showroom for Knuckleheads.
2nd we had a wonderful photo shoot for our new spring 08 catalog. The photographer hired a child model from an agency, and also hired a stylist and hair and make up. It was a fun experience. Otto had a blast with it, and loved the beach.
3rd, Trent got to surf!

Shoe line??

So, I started designing baby crib shoes...call me crazy! I can't help myself. I just need to think of a name for the line...any ideas, and I am crazy? Should I do it?

What sleep??

Once again, I find myself blogging alone late at night with silent house. Why do I find it necessary to stay up so late? I must admit that I love this time to myself. No one forcing me to pay attention to them, no little mouths chatting 90 miles an hr, no phones ringing, no diapers to change, just a quiet house!
It can be lonely at this wee hour in the morning too, and my eyes start to burn from staring at the computer screen.....and then my bed calls my name. Oh beloved sleep!
So, once again....at 1: am I finally retire to bed.

So, Otto finally did it! He went pee in the potty! It was quite a big deal around here....he went all by himself and came out and told us about it! Sure enough...he did go! Then today, he went again 2 more times. Yeah...one more out of diapers! Now, lets just hope that it lasts!! Oh, the things you get excited about when you are a mother! LOL

Ok...I have to have these! Too bad my birthday isn't til October...but you know, the baby doesn't need a gift....how about a "congrats mom gift, because you did a good job and carried the baby for 9 months present"......anyone???

My new (old) love

I am so drawn to this blanket. I am not sure why...I am not exactly a shabby chic kinda girl. The texture and colors are so fresh, and the baby would look so lovely on it!

Easter!

I didn't have the energy to take great pics this year...after having the flu all last week, I barely had time to put some baskets togther!

The kids were so excited. They were up at 6am...waiting to see if the easter bunny came. Our Easter bunny hides the baskets and the kids have to find them with the clues left behind.

Well...poor Otto didn't understand this, and when he woke up, he ran down stairs to see his basket and when it wasn't there he just broke out crying and was so upset that the Easter bunny didn't come. So, we were forced out of bed to hunt for those baskets way too early in the morning. By 10am Otto had eaten all of his easter candy!

Spring Break is here!

Brooklyn had spring break this week, so we took the kids snowboarding. Brooklyn did very very well, she surprised us. By the end of the day she was carving down the mounting and riding up and down the lift by herself. She is such an independent lil thing.

Lily has a lot of style on the board and is not afraid of falling, she doesn't ask any questions, and just goes! She loves the thrill of going fast and laughed the whole day.

Then there is mr. Otto who is so competitive with his sisters, he has to do what they do. So, he just went for it and had a great time. He got a lil nervous, but he couldn't get enough. Poor trent was running up and down the hill all day with the kids, he got the most workout!
