Help......

What do you do when your 6yr old daughter gets invited to a Twilight birthday party, then informs you that she is "totally in love with Edward" ....ummmm help!

P.S. She will NOT be attending the party,  and Trent is scared to death!

First Trent needs to buy himself a big scary gun and a shovel, then you officially lock her away until she is 30.

I have nothing... no great words of wisdom to share. Now I KNOW why I had all boys! Good luck!

I feel sorry for the girl having the party. SOunds like the parents are wanting to be cool and have their little girl grow up too soon!!!!!!what a shame. But that's what the world has become.

LOLOL! I know how you feel. My 5 year old Wyatt loves girls and is rather up front about it. It is freaking me out LOL.

I completely understand! Our eight year old , Victoria thinks Edward is so handsome and she has not seen the movie! What in the world!??

Oh, Melissa! I had the same discussion with Eve. I opened up the invite and was thoroughly confused, umm this is for a 7 year olds party?!?!?? I guess this movie has been quite the topic of discussion lately and I think it's a little over the top for their age. I understand the boy crush, but they don't understand lust and all that goes along with it. Eve had told her that she couldn't go right away cause it was on Sunday. I was relieved to hear a couple of the girls' moms in the neighborhood talk to me about how inappropriate it was and there was no way their girls were going to go and they are not LDS either. I am glad that I was able to talk to them about our mutual beliefs about morals.

I'm with you. Hannah is 11 and is upset that I won't let her read the books. She said that all the girls at school are reading them. Harry and I briefly discussed this with her teacher. She said that those girls' behavior (the ones that read the books) have actually changed around the boys. Interesting, but very scar.

*SIGH* Brinlee (also 7) is a little boy crazy already. Apparently my neighbors son (who is also in our ward) proposed marriage to Brinlee after we'd lived here only 2 weeks and the mom informed me that Brinlee accepted!! UGH! WTHk are we gonna do when they actually hit puberty?!!!
