"'Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?' the plumber asked, complaining that he was being taxed 'more and more for fulfilling the American dream.'
"'It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too,' Obama responded. 'My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonnabe good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Interesting eh??? Hummm.... so basically the Robin Hood strategy? Steal from the rich and give to the poor? Why should the government punish someone for making more money than someone else?
Ok, so for you who still don't get it, let me put it this way; If two people walk into a store one woman makes $10 hr and the other woman makes $20 hr. They buy the exact same shoes, but when they get to the register the woman who makes $20 hr has to pay more for the same shoes ....just to make it fair, cause the other lady doesn't have enough money.
Come on! Seriously? And people are buying into this crap?? I am a small business owner, and this election comes down to this basic issue; big government or small government? While some of you might be more concerned about the war or the environment, let me assure you that ALL of issues come down to ONE thing for me, do I want a socialist (border line communist) government? Do I want the government to run everything, including the health system, do I want them telling me when, where and what Dr. I have to see? Do I want the government spending MY hard earned money, just to make things fair for everyone?
The answer is NO, I want to live the "American Dream", and own my own business and make my own decisions and I want a government that supports small businesses instead of stealing from them. That is why I am voting McCain, there I said it, and I feel no shame in it!
I looked up socialism in the encyclopedia and next to Obama's picture it read this;Socialism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society. Represents the transitional stage between capitalism and communism.

Amen sister! Thanks for your comment on my blog! I'm getting a lot of angry people (which I expected) but it's nice to see someone agrees with me. I have been told I am a hateful and prejudice person... Hmm... So much for tolerance towards other people's views, even if they are contrary to your own. If I don't believe in gay marriage I'm hateful. Nice... (=
amen amen.
I've followed your blog for awhile now and I'm not sure if I've commented before but had to pop in and say how refreshing it is to hear someone voice their support for McCain. Seems like the only people proud to show their support are the Obama followers. I wholeheartedly agree with your thoughts on the issue of 'sharing the wealth'. It's astonishing to me how so many people support that way of thinking. I truly believe most don't really realize exactly what the policies are of the candidate that they're supporting. Anyway, just thought I'd add an 'amen sister' comment to the bunch. I'm sure you'll see a few who disagree.
And in case I haven't commented before I have to add that I adore your clothing line. :)
You took the words right out of my mouth!
Another 'Amen.'
Miss you!
very good point!!! i am with you.... voting for mccain/palin!!!
agree with it all - except for the medical part. In Canada you still get to choose your own doctors. Of course they pay 50 % of income in taxes....
hallelujia!!!
